While Maltego is a fantastic tool for mining the Internet and uncovering information via open source means, how does it integrate with your data?
Over the years we have expanded an entire range of products and servers aimed specifically at that! Whether it is information from your local Oracle or MSSQL databases or querying a mainframe via SOAP to find out about an incident that is happening right now Maltego can integrate seamlessly with your data.
Some of the ways we integrate with your data:
- TDS/iTDS: The Transform Distribution Server (TDS/iTDS) allows Maltego users to manage, share and control custom written transforms to be run on external machines doing away with the need for environmental settings. This module also allows for a transform to be written in any language, setup in a secure environment and then accessed via the clients through the TDS module.

- SQLTAS: The SQLTAS is probably Paterva’s most well known module used by various Fortune 500 companies to easily integrate with their SQL databases (Oracle, DB2, PostgreSQL, MySQL and MSSQL). It allows for data to be easily visualized and used by analysts within the Maltego client via SQL queries. It also allows a layer of abstraction to be placed between the analysts and the queries as well as the credentials and other sensitive details stored.

- Custom entities: Maltego version 3 gives the user the ability to create fully custom entities that can be utilized by many different means ( servers, local transforms, TDS transforms). This means that you can now have Maltego represent any type of information, not just the entities previously available.
