First impressions

My first impressions are:
- Very nice product, can save a lot of time
Feature requests:
- Transform from
www.yoname.com
(social networking searching)
- Where you have an entity that is connected to many entities, a sort of "delete this section of tree" type functionality. I.e. I search a name for email addresses. Many email addresses get found. Search websites of some email addresses, shows a lot of results which indicate the email address isnt irrelevent to me so I wont to delete the email address and all its website entities
- Easy writing of own transforms - i.e. local phonebooks etc
- An easier introduction, perhaps some excercises to run through with step by step about what to do that teaches you how to use it.
- A way of downgrading from Maltego commercial edition to Community Edition. I accidently downloaded the commercial edition and it took quite a while to figure out that I had the wrong one
.
- An easier way of enabling transforms that require you to read a disclaimer. It was hard to scroll through and find it for a first time user (the first feature I was after when I started was social network search which as I understand takes a while because of rapleaf).
Problems found:
- An email address I was searching for was listed on Google Groups but only a portion of a different address which showed up as my search email address. This is due to the Google Groups hiding email addresses to stop their users being spammed etc.
Hope this helps somewhat towards a great products.
Thanks

I''m not exactly sure what you meant here, but have you tried using the select children - see the userguide for further information

Local transforms are coming in 2.1!

We will definitely think about this, we generally just kinda hoped people would look at the user guide ( which also has some examples), but i believe you mean tutorials.. Any idea what tutorials you would ideally like to see?
- A way of downgrading from Maltego commercial edition to Community Edition. I accidently downloaded the commercial edition and it took quite a while to figure out that I had the wrong one Smiley.
Unfortunately i don''t think that this is an option, hopefully everyone will just figure it out

To do this easily, simply sort by the first column, find the disclaimer icons (red with a note inside), then u can simply double click on the Application and click ''I agree''

Unfortunately we can only enumerate results we ''see'' on the net, so if the email addresses are obfuscated in anyway we wont be able to find them
Hope this helps somewhat towards a great products.
Thanks
