I am running the CE 2 (build 210) version on Fedora Core 8 Linux
with JDK 1.6u10, 2.4GHz Intel Mobile CPU & 1.5GB RAM.

Problem is that i don''t see any transforms.
I can import the MALTAS transforms fine, but of course
i would like to use the standard transforms as well.

No error messages visible:

This typically happens when you start Maltego and your parent working directory is not the Maltego directory. The solution to this problem is to go to the Maltego directory and run bin/maltego from there. So if you have installed Maltego in:

/usr/local/Maltego

then do:

cd /usr/local/Maltego
sh bin/maltego
