Features considered for 2.1

We are in the process of getting the feature list of 2.1 finalized and I was hoping to get some feedback from the community. Please consider replying as this will shape how 2.1 will look.

Features we are considering are:

[ ] Unicode support for questions and answers
[ ] Entity import
[ ] Search engine transform preview (e.g. text with check boxes popping up before entities are returned on *_SE)
[ ] Local transforms (scriptable Python code) that can be created/extended by end user
[ ] Bookmarking of nodes (plus adding descriptions)
[ ] Better/more reporting
[ ] Some transforms to have a pop-up that ask for additional fields before transform runs. Useful on SQL transforms
[ ] Indication of stealth levels on transform
[ ] Collection nodes (e.g. node that contains other nodes and can be collapsed or expanded)
[ ] Support for local creation of custom entities
[ ] Copy and pasting of entities across multiple graphs
[ ] More/better documentation

I''d appreciate it if you could mark those you think are really needed. If the function of a feature is not really clear let me know and I will explain in more detail. Also - if you think 2.0 should be left alone - let me know.

Hello - this is great!  Thanks for the query...  here are my thoughts on what would help us the most in upgrading the product.

[X ] Search engine transform preview (e.g. text with check boxes popping up before entities are returned on *_SE)
--------------  The ability to make / customize the searches could result in significant time savings in pursuing certain types of searches.

• Bookmarking of nodes (plus adding descriptions)

--------------  This might be nice, depending on how the information can be "re-accessed" book marking them may or may not be useful.

[ XXX] Better/more reporting.
--------------  YES, YES, & YES - this is the number one item!!!  Customizable maps would be nice too, IE - SHFT/CLICK to include in a map.

[XX ] Copy and pasting of entities across multiple graphs.
--------------  Yes, useful especially if you want to focus on individual items, what would be cool is to R-CLICK and send to MAP-X, so you could select multiple items and send it to a map to pursue in thier own context.

[ ] More/better documentation
--------------  The current documentation is pretty good, granted it could be improved - but what you have now is better than most.....

so I can visualize the data I have collected via other means.  Of course, that could also be accomplished with my second item on the wishlist:

Since this requires me to do the work and I rather have you do the work I''d prefer to have the import functionality ;-)

- Transform for Reverse DNS on every IP on a NetBlock using a DNS specified in transform.

Also, a more powerfull node managent, like node merge/join/split (ej, in some cases you get two equal nodes, pointing to diferents nodes. It will be useful to "merge" both nodes, so you get just one node with all the pointing nodes).
