I have been stumped on this simple issue.
Using CE3 on Win7.

Both Firefox and IE 8 are set to 'No Proxy' and Maltego is set to no proxy, however, everytime I try to discover Transforms for the first time I get an error that:
'No Transforms could be found
This usually means your Proxy settings are incorrect etc..'
'No Transform Servers could be contacted.'

Thanks for your help!

I have the same issue.. I'm guessing it's not our clients then Smiley

When I try the URL in my browser, I get the following:

Service Temporarily Unavailable

The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.

Apache/2.2.14 (Ubuntu) Server at maltego4.paterva.com Port 80

Hi guys,

So what i have found is that under certain conditions (all that i have seen have occured on some flavour of *nix, but it could happen on windows too) java is trying to use ipv6 rather than ipv4 (how you are most likely connecting).

Essentially you will just need to force it off within java or within your environment for example:

sysctl -w net.ipv6.conf.all.disable_ipv6=1

Please follow up here to let me know if you found an easier way to solve this.

Regards,
-AM
