I'd love to see a CSV import capability. It would be very useful for dealing with things like long lists of email addresses or IPs.

Thanks,

I endorse this requirement too however, I will go further...

I am evaluating Maltego CE version for potential Corporate use and need to create whole libraries of Entities that each contain a number of Additional Properties.

Using the GUI interface to create each of these is very long winded and slow. Furthermore, there appears to be no way to quickly view and compare existing Entity Attributes to determine their usefulness or adaptability. Consequently, export to CSV is important too.

I would far prefer to be able to create a spreadsheet and use each column headed by the Entity and followed below by the Attributes to enable that all necessary components are correct and cross-referenced for integrity by visual inspection.

I consider this to be key critical to the usability of the software when designing new areas or arenas of use for the application.

At the moment, this restriction is a bit of a show-stopper.

Hi,

Since version 3.04 we have had CSV import within the application itself with the ability to select the various fields and asign them to properties and values of entities. So the functionality is there already.

However creating entities from CSV is currently not available, entity creation should be a once of processes and although tedious should hopefully not need to be done again on any additional computers as you will simply be able to import these entities.

With regards to how you would see the CSV import working, that seems to apply well for a single entity but not for multiples, how would it know where one begins and ends etc? The Interface does provide an easy way to do this and i recommend you re-evaluating it.
