Hi,

I just installed the commercial version of Maltego 3.0.1 on Windows XP, and when I try a transform (for instance "To Website [Quick lookup]"), I have an error box showing up with the following message :

Transform "To Website [Quick lookup]" returned the following error(s):
- HTTP error: Connection refused: connect

The same message show up for every transform I tried. Any idea of what is happening ?

Thanks

Good day,

The issue you are experiencing is due to the fact that your MaltegoCE cannot communicate with our Maltego server. Check your proxy settings (in Maltego - under options via the round globe button, and your windows proxy settings) to make sure your Maltego can get to the servers.

Regards,
Andrew

Hi.
I have a similar problem. Is the CEV3 with Java, on windows XP sp3.

Im not using proxy, but in social network memebership (rapleaf) transformations, happends this error:

HTTP - timeout to Rapleaf - exiting

I think the others transformations are runing ok.

Any idea to solve it ?

The error you are seeing is unfortunately due to the fact that Rapleaf no longer supports this API and will have to be removed. We are looking into other options and as soon as we have we will post it on the blog!

Cheers,
