Visio support would be nice.

I mean, you can''t make CEOs install nag screens to view a report, and they can''t spend hours on studying it to know how to interact with it.

You can''t send huge jpgs to ceo''s to view in e-mail as they will need to scroll like crazy.

And certainly not xmls Smiley

So visio would be really nice.

Or any other format that would allow zoom in and out, interact, etc. Maybe html with javascript and css? Will be great. And maybe html with javascript and css is easyier than visio.

Cheers!

You may consider downloading the commercial version - even if you don''t activate it. With the commercial version you can''t run transforms if it''s not activated but...you can load graphs and play with them. So - no nag screen and multiple zoom levels (less panning). Soon the CEO will want to search for nodes (which he can), or move stuff around or have different views or layouts - which he can all do. And it''s not that hard to learn how to do it - you can do it all with your mouse (ex search). And..he doesn''t have to have Visio installed.

It''s at http://www.paterva.com/maltego/download/

PS: A CEO might even want to buy the commercial version...Wink

Remember, to download any version, install it, etc - you need to think. Move your brain.

CEOs don''t like moving their brain, especially installing stuff, bypassing nag screens, thinking what will be free and what will nag, etc.

I''m just trying to build a real life situation here. Visio or html with css and images would be quite nice.

gromeo,

Have you had a look at exporting to PDF? take a look here http://www.paterva.com/forum/index.php/topic,22 . Will this not work for your situation? The file''s aren''t excessively large and are in a common format so that the CEO wouldn''t have to install anything..

Looks good. Especially with the full detail zoomable prints.
