So I was playing around with v3 - and accidentally ran the same transforms a number of times against a number of entities. Now I have a graph with many lines (a bunch of which are duplicates). I know I can select them all individually and delete them manually. I'm just wondering if there's some clever method to get it to automagically get rid of the duplicates?

For a contrived example, see http://www.autom8on.net/007-maltego3-contrived_example.png

Hi,

To select a link simply hold down ctrl + click on the link, you can then simply press delete and it will be gone Smiley

You can also see it in the crash course - http://www.paterva.com/web5/documentation/Maltego3_crash_course.pdf

Yeah - I know you can do it manually. But, if, for example, you had a few hundred links that needed getting rid of... Is there any quicker way than manually deleting them one-by-one (or going back and re-generating the graph from scratch without the multiple transform runs)?

To be fair, it's probably an error in my methodology for searching - I should keep better track of what's been run on what... ;-)

Hi Again,

Sorry i misread your previous comment, unfortunately it is not currently possible to say hold control and drag a selection over multiple links, you can however use ctrl + shit and select multiple links.

In future releases links will become more like entities. Thus - you can search on links, you can annotate links etc. and they'll be time stamped. If the same entity is returned by 2 different transform you also would to know that *two* transforms that gave the same result. If these two links are merged into one, how would you be able to differentiate between them?
