New to maltego thank to IHC''s informer (and loving it, will almost certainly get a full license after this one expires).  And I cannot seam to get any results from rapleaf, always get "Could not get any information for xxx@yyy.com at Rapleaf at this moment - try back again later!"

Found some previous posts that mention rapleaf was changing their api policy, but that maltego was fine, maybe I misread though.  Do I need to get my own api key from rapleaf?

Thanks,

Hi Peck,

Rapleaf works on a batch processing basis as far as we can tell. For example, you submit a@a.com and b@b.com, then only once they have say 10 in the queue do they process them. Which is why you would get that message.

So depending on their load you would have to wait for the queue to be full and a batch process to run, simply rerun the transform again later on the same email address to see results.

We would love for it to be a realtime, do the job as we ask for it, but unfortunately this is out of our hands.

I Hope this answers your question,

Regards

Interesting.  I''ve tried to use a couple of addresses multiple times over the course of about a week and still getting no results... I''ll try a few more things, maybe try submitting enough for a batch myself and seew hat happens.

Peck,

As i said before we aren''t exactly sure what happens on their side, you can try mail them, and as you can imagine we are unfortunately at their mercy.

Right, no blame towards maltego at all, I know it uses public sources and sometimes those sources will stop working.

From further looking into it it appears that rapleaf is currently on cruise control.  It will function wonderfully if you''re querying for an email address that has been searched before, but its not processing new queries at the moment.  They''ve also been non responsive to direct requests through their website and such.
